Forghieri is in a position to boast a strong and highly qualified image, which ensues from its esteemed historic brand and from the innovative and technical contents of its products. Its high-end target clientèle, its all-Italian passion and the proactiveness and professional approach of company management all contribute to making Forghieri a business with a top-end manufacturing and commercial profile that is the absolute leader in the “cab” and “glazing” sector.

Forghieri History

The Carrozzeria Forghieri body shop was set up in 1953 and was named after its founder, Bonfiglio Forghieri. Its main activity during the early years was tied to the automotive market: the workshop’s tasks focused on modifications and painting, on wood and sheet metal, for all types of vehicles. Subsequently, thanks to the skills acquired over time, the workshop specialised in the conversion of cars into lorries.

In addition, since 1989, the company has its own modern glass production facility, to fit out all the cabs and to supply the spare parts department. In this sector too, the company relies on modern technology: using NC glass cutting processes, grinding, washing and glass perforation.

The factory also has a glass-tempering flat furnace. Forghieri, with a view to trengthening its customer services, is in a position to supply turnkey solutions: from planning to design and production.

Forghieri can also provide quality self-certifications and type-approval certificates at the customer’s request.

Our product applications vary across different sectors of the construction industry, interior décor, ships and railway systems and thanks to a host of type approvals developed over the years in different types of glazing.
With the forglass brand, we support the automotive sector with supplies for the initial outfitting, spare parts and prototyping to support the outfitting of civil and military lorries, urban buses, coaches, tourist buses, minibuses, camper vans, driving cabs for airport vehicles, fork-lift trucks for handling in ports and industrial areas, farming machine tools, roadwork machinery, etc.
